1 . About Topdisplay

Topdisplay specializes in direct-fit touchscreen head units that modernize a vehicle's dashboard without sacrificing its factory character. Each unit is engineered for a specific vehicle platform, pairing a vehicle-matched bezel with a plug-and-play wiring harness so the upgrade bolts in cleanly and keeps the functions drivers already rely on.

For full-size trucks like the Chevrolet Silverado, Topdisplay combines a large-format QLED display, an Android-based system with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and integrated physical controls - bringing current infotainment tech to trucks that left the factory with a dated radio.

2 . The Upgrade: Silverado 2014-2018

Built for the Silverado

This kit is a direct-fit radio upgrade for the Chevrolet Silverado 2014-2018 with the Non-Bose sound system. It replaces the dated factory radio with a modern large-screen system that bolts into the original dash opening - no cutting, no fabrication - while keeping the factory look and the functions you already use.

3 . Installation Guide

Before you start: park on level ground, switch off the ignition, and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Step 1 - Unbox and check the kit

Lay out the head unit, harnesses, adapter modules, and accessories. Verify everything against the packing list before starting.

Step 2 - Remove the dash trim panels

Pry off the lower dash panel and the glovebox/upper trim to expose the factory radio mounting screws.

Step 3 - Remove the factory radio

Unbolt the factory screen/radio, slide it out, and unplug all factory connectors from the back.

Step 4 - Connect the harness adapters

Plug the Topdisplay vehicle-specific harness into the factory connectors. Every plug is keyed - no cutting or splicing.

Step 5 - Route the cables

Route the main harness and accessory leads neatly behind the dash so nothing gets pinched when the unit goes in.

Step 6 - Connect and mount the head unit

Connect all harness plugs to the back of the Topdisplay unit, seat it in the dash opening, and bolt it down.

Step 7 - Reassemble the dash

Refit the trim bezel, glovebox, and remaining panels in reverse order.

Step 8 - Power on and test

Start the truck and verify the touch screen, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, radio, steering wheel controls, and climate controls.
