Step 1 — Pop Off the Trim Panels

Gently pry off the trim panels around the factory radio and the lower AC control area. They are held by plastic clips, so ease them out slowly and nothing will snap.

Step 2 — Unbolt and Pull the Factory Screen

Remove the screws holding the stock screen assembly, then pull the whole unit out from the dash. Keep those screws in a safe spot — you will reuse them on the new screen.

Step 3 — Unplug the Harness and Free the Old Unit

Unclip the wiring harness from the back of the factory unit and set the old radio aside. The dash cavity is now wide open and ready for the new gear.

Step 4 — Plug In the New Harness and Decoder

Connect the new unit's harness, matching the color-coded plugs, and click the decoder module in. Most plugs only fit one way, so it is honestly hard to get this wrong.

Step 5 — Seat the New Screen Into the Frame

Mount the bracket, then seat the new Topdisplay screen into the dash frame and click the surrounding trim into place. It fits the factory opening perfectly.

Step 6 — Lock It In With the Bracket Screws

Drive the screws back in to secure the bracket and screen. A snug turn is all it takes — no need to overtighten.
