Step 1 — Pop the A/C Control Panel

First unit to come out is the climate-control panel above the radio. Work a screwdriver in to release it, then pull the whole panel module free. It's held by straightforward clips — gentle and steady wins here.

Step 2 — Unbolt and Pull the Factory Radio

With the panel out of the way, use a trim tool for the vent surround and a Phillips screwdriver for the mounting screws, then ease the stock unit forward and out. Treat the connectors gently — you'll be plugging right back into this same space.

Step 3 — Unplug Everything and Clear the Slot

Disconnect every harness on the back of the stock unit and lift it fully out, including the plastic panel frame below. Each plug comes off one-by-one and the empty cavity opens up — clean, clipped back, ready for the new screen.

Step 4 — Meet Your New 10.2" Screen

Before it goes anywhere near the dash, fire the Topdisplay unit up on the bench — tap through the home screen and into system settings. Step 5 — Align and Seat the Head Unit

Grab the new screen by the edges and line it up with the dash opening. Slide it into the slot at a slight angle, then press it flat into place — the first moment the 10.2-inch QLED panel actually takes over the cabin look.

Step 6 — Plug In the Harness, Mount the Box, Done

Final stretch: click the factory connectors into the new harness — yellow, red, white and orange plugs going home one at a time — then fit the small black accessory box that sits under the screen. Every connector is keyed, so it only goes one way. Re-fit the trim, fire it up, and pair your phone over wireless CarPlay or Android Auto.
